JPP Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge
JPP are taking on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge on June 8th this year.
At present, 47 of us will trek 26 miles through the Yorkshire Dales national park, reaching the summit of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough within 12 hours.
We will be doing this challenge to raise money for Willen Hospice and Penny Brohn UK.
We are taking on this epic challenge in memory of a close friend of one of our Associate Directors Jasmin was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019 at the age of 30. Following numerous rounds of treatment, Jasmin was later diagnosed with secondary cancer (stage 4) in 2021 and despite further treatment, passed away on June 16th 2023 a month before her Wedding day. Penny Brohn UK supported Jasmin throughout her 4 years of living with cancer and Willen Hospice offered their support in her final 6 months.
Whilst Jasmin was living with cancer, she raised an enormous amount of money for various charities and we would like to continue fundraising in her memory.
