Project Summary
The warehouse and cabin at Grand Union Works was purchased in the summer of 2022 and work to repurpose and refit to create a bespoke, flagship head office for JPP began immediately. Group Director, Ben Arnsby designed and managed the project and work was completed within 8 months.
The vision was to create a workplace that inspired, motivated and supported the staff who work here.
Demolition of the main building commenced. The asbestos roof and wall cladding were safely removed and works to remove masonry walls could progress. Brickwork walls were built and the roof cladding put on in order to make the main building secure and watertight once again. Once the building was dry and secure, cladding works could be completed, internal walls erected, the brickwork could be finished and the doors and windows installed. Heating, lighting and power were all installed.
Ergonomic desks and chairs, sofas, bespoke wooden tables, benches and stools, gym equipment, garden furniture and even a pool table were all purchased in consultation with staff.
We were able to move into our new head office on April 14th 2023.
