6 Years at JPP

This month we are celebrating Steve Owen, Director of our sister company, We Architecture.

Steve has worked with us at JPP for 6 years and is highly experienced, hard working and incredibly supportive. He is an experienced Architect with over 20 years working in and leading multi-disciplinary teams in the successful delivery of education, commercial, industrial and residential schemes.

SUPPLEMENTARY GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATION RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT – HOULTON, RUGBY

Following a detailed review of the Site Investigation Report which our client was provided, JPP recommended, designed and undertook an additional supplementary geotechnical ground investigation.

The findings of our additional investigation and geotechnical analysis assisted our in-house structural engineering team in redesigning the foundation solution for the proposed development.

The redesigned foundations were shallower than originally planned, saving our client both time and money in the earthworks phase, whilst reducing the environmental footprint of the development by reducing the volume of concrete used.

Congratulations to Matthew Baldwin, Trainee Technician at our Whilton Locks office, who not only got 100% in his Surveying exam, but he also completed it in 38 minutes beating the previous record of 43 minutes!!
