Project Summary
Our team in Poole (formerly known as Smith Foster) provided infrastructure and structural engineering design for this boutique collection of nineteen homes, designed by Boon Brown Architects, built in the exclusive 165-acre woodland estate in Midhurst.
The project was let by Metis Homes on a design and build basis and we worked closely with the successful contractor to deliver design and construction efficiencies through close collaboration.
Our structural design package included the substructure design of all semi-detached units and the sub and superstructure for the three detached properties and associated car ports. This included coordination with the timber frame supplier to provide suitable foundation sizes and with the Architects to provide the open spaces required for the high quality detached units.
